Amaranth Grain

Amaranth Grain

Cultivated throughout the Americas, the tiny seeds of amaranth, or “kiwicha”, are traditionally cooked like rice or popped like popcorn! The Aztecs believed this staple food had mystical powers that increased their strength and fitness. Its nutritional profile, similar to quinoa, means that Amaranth is an ideal gluten-free source of protein and fibre, with high percentages of your daily iron, calcium and magnesium needs. We love to use amaranth to enrich our culinary delights.
